Graphic Designer. Game Artist. 3D Artist. I’ve had many titles during my professional career which is now spanning over a decade. My background is in traditional graphic design, but for the past six years I have been working as a Game Artist in the mobile games industry. At Rovio Entertainment I worked on mobile game titles such as Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Friends and most recently Battle Bay.
I started my game art career as a 2D artist but pivoted towards 3D when I discovered how much more enjoyable working in the 3D space was for me. I’m very passionate about the craft and determined to develop myself in the field of 3D art and design, pushing the boundaries of my skillset whenever I hit them.
I’m proficient with most of the relevant non-3D visual creative tools, namely Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash). In 3D modeling my go-to tool has always been Blender. I do most of my 3D sculpting in Blender but have been slowly moving towards ZBrush. Texturing and material creation I handle in Photoshop and 3D-Coat. I’m also somewhat comfortable with Spine (2D animation). As for game engines, so far I’m only familiar with Unity.
